Although Tamil literature consists of hundreds of Anthadhi songs, Abhirami Anthadi is praised as one of the prominent Anthadhi songs of Tamil literature. Since this anthadhi was sung on goddess Abhirami residing in Thirukkadavur, Tamil Nadu, it is known as Abhirami Anthadhi.
